Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 July 2026
Project scope
Every project begins with a Discovery conversation, after which a written scope and price are agreed before any build work starts. Work is limited to what's defined in that scope.
Changes to scope
One round of revisions is included in the Business-tier build as standard (see Services). Requests that go beyond the agreed scope — additional pages, features, or major content changes — are quoted and agreed separately before work begins on them.
Payment
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, projects are invoiced as a deposit before work begins and a final payment before launch. Speed optimization and SEO audit engagements are invoiced in full upfront. Late payment may pause work until the account is settled.
Timelines
Estimated timelines are provided at the Discovery stage. Timelines depend on content and feedback being provided promptly — delays on the client side may extend the delivery date accordingly.
Ownership
Once final payment is received, ownership of the delivered website (design and code produced for the project) transfers to the client. Any third-party assets (fonts, licensed images, plugins) remain subject to their own licenses.
Liability
DEMWeb Studio will deliver work with reasonable skill and care, but is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the delivered website, including third-party service outages (hosting, DNS, email delivery) outside our direct control. Total liability for any project is limited to the amount paid for that project.
Support
Post-launch support covers fixes to work delivered as part of the project. Ongoing content updates or new feature work are scoped and quoted separately.
